In this feature, I decided to interview a Japanese housewife who has years of experience preparing bento box according to seasonal ingredients for her husband. Eating out can be fun, but taking time to prepare a tailor-made meal for oneself or loved ones are much more beneficial for one’s wellbeing! Here, I asked her to show our readers how to efficiently prepare a traditional Japanese bento as well as a modern western version. Tips like time of preparation, choice of a suitable bento box, and ways to packaging were also included. From organising shooting, interview and creating the content, I want to encourage the younger generation like mine to cook and choose mindfully their daily meals, and the most important information of all, it’s not as difficult as you imagined!
